Wenger tracks young talents

Arsenal are reportedly making close checks on two promising talents who are stamping their mark on the European game.

Rennes' Yoann Gourcuff has caught Arsene Wenger's eye with his performances for the France Under-19 side but he is now impressing at club level too.

The 19-year-old attacking talent (pictured) could be on Wenger's list of targets in 2006 if the Gunners boss pursues his interest.

Besiktas midfielder Ibrahim Akin is another player whose name is being connected with the FA Cup holders.
