Jose Antonio Reyes admits he will have no qualms in playing on the wing once Arsenal captain Thierry Henry is fit again.

Henry is currently sidelined with a groin injury and that has allowed Reyes to be the focal point of The Gunners' attack.

The Spanish youngster is revelling in the chance to lead the Arsenal line and has impressed with his stylish performances.

He is aware Henry will reclaim the striker's position once he has shaken off his injury but Reyes will be happy to be deployed as a winger, if it means he is in Arsene Wenger's starting line-up.

"This season I've been playing in every game and I've got the confidence of the manager behind me," said Reyes.

"I've been given that chance and I don't want to miss out.

"It's true that with Thierry out I get more chances to play up front and I like that position.

"But even if I am moved back to the wing when Thierry comes back I don't mind, as long as I am playing."

Reyes also revealed his joy at playing for an Arsenal team committed to flowing football, as opposed to the efficient methods of champions Chelsea.

"I love to play in this team," he added. "It's a pleasure to play with team-mates who have the technical ability to pass like we can.

"Whoever criticises that approach doesn't know too much about football in my opinion.

"Everyone has their own style of playing and teams like Chelsea and Liverpool have theirs. I prefer the pass and touch we employ.

"Playing the ball on the ground is proper football, rather than hitting the ball long and high and everyone running after it."
