Parma keeper Sebastien Frey is not distracted by rumours regarding his future.

The Frenchman is determined to maintain his focus on keeping Parma in Serie A as they face the relegation play-offs, and is ignoring rumours about a move to Fiorentina or Arsenal.

"I can assure everyone that my aim is to stay in Serie A with Parma," Frey told his personal website. "I guarantee, as usual, my best engagement.

"As for the market rumours about me, I think to always show affection for Parma's jersey and the city, where I have experienced the best moments of my career.

"In this moment, my mind is only on the play-offs with Bologna.

"I also cleared the situation with Mr Luca Baraldi, to whom I think I have showed from the beginning of the season the absolute affection for this team, accepting the requests that have been made to me."

The comments are in response to Baraldi's claim that the keeper was foolish to discuss a possible switch to Fiorentina.

The Parma general manager felt they were insensitive with the club embroiled in their fight against the drop.
