Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal's pride will keep them fighting for every Premiership point available, although Chelsea will surely be crowned champions.

The Gunners produced a great display in their North London derby against Tottenham at Highbury on Monday, to delay Chelsea's championship party.

The Blues still only need a win at Bolton on Saturday to clinch their first league title in 50 years, but Wenger says Arsenal's pride as champions makes them continue fighting.

"I said as normal that as long as we have some chance then we will fight for it," Wenger told Sky Sports after the game.

"Our pride means that we have to fight for everything.

"If you look now we have 74 points and in most leagues around Europe we would be top with that amount.

"Chelsea have more points and we have to respect that but we will keep on fighting until the end.

"I won't let that go as long as we have one chance to lift it. We will still go for it."

Jose Antonio Reyes' first half goal settled the North London derby in favour of the hosts, but The Gunners should have added to their tally and it made for a nervy end.

"I think we played some great football but we couldn't get the second goal.

"We played a good Tottenham side who played well.

"When you don't get the second goal you always worry but we are solid at the back now and our confidence is growing.

"Reyes was very lively. You could see that after he scored he was a different animal on the pitch that gave him the boost he needed."
