Strasbourg are determined to keep Premiership target Mamadou Niang during the summer.

Niang is purported to be on the wanted list of both Arsenal and Everton after an impressive season in Ligue 1.

The Senegal international has shone for Strasbourg and has played a key role in the club all-but securing their top-flight status.

But he could be the subject of bids at the end of the season, with The Gunners rumoured to have been in contact with Niang.

The forward is under contract until 2008 and Strasbourg insist they will only cash in if they receive a massive offer.

"He is non-transferable except if₻" said Strasbourg's general manager Marc Keller.

One player who will be leaving Strasbourg in the summer is Yacine Abdessadki, who has been unable to concur on a new contract.

The midfielder feels it is time to quit the Alsace club and is considering offers for next season.

"I will never forget Racing," Abdessadki told France Football. "They educated me and they have allowed me to improve.

"But the negotiations about my contract extension have not been finalised.

"I don't know where I will go yet but I have contacts with French and European clubs."
