Jose Antonio Reyes has been handed a three match ban for violent conduct.Jose Antonio Reyes has been handed a three-match ban after being found guilty of violent conduct by The FA.
The talented Spaniard was caught on camera jostling with Andy Liddell in Arsenal's FA Cup stalemate with Sheffield United.
In the same mini-brawl, Dennis Bergkamp was shown his marching orders for an altercation with Danny Cullip.
Whilst the mercurial Dutchman seemed to do little of note in the incident, a gloved hand - belonging to Reyes - looked to attempt to strike one of the Sheffield United players.
The FA have now concluded that Reyes was indeed guilty of acting violently and have slapped him with a three-match suspension.
Reyes had denied the breach of FA Rule E3 but a disciplinary committee declined to concur, giving Gunners boss Arsene Wenger a fresh headache.
