Arsenal are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old attacking midfielder who has drawn comparisons with Gunners star Jose Antonio Reyes.
The North Londoners have had Navas watched twice this season and will have received positive reports on his performances.
The Gunners are also monitoring Navas's Sevilla team-mate Sergio Ramos, but the Primera outfit have no intention parting company with their talented youngsters.
They recently agreed a new improved contract with Ramos and are confident of reaching agreement with Navas.
"It should remain clear that Sevilla treasures the progression of their young players," president Jose Maria del Nido recently stated.
Navas is under contract at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan until June 2008 and his release clause stands at some é¼18 million.
However, Sevilla are keen to reward him for his progress this term where he has established himself in the club's first-team squad, and hope to send a message to any interested suitors.
