Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted he is keeping tabs on Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Wenger will see Wright-Phillips close up on Saturday when his Arsenal side visit Eastlands to take on Manchester City.
Wright-Phillips has established himself as one of the best young players in England and City face a major fight to keep hold of the player - despite the fact he has recently signed a new contract.
The Gunners boss has been impressed by the stepson of Arsenal legend Ian Wright and hinted he could make a move for him in the future.
"He will be a major threat to us.
"He has a tremendous work rate and tremendous penetrating power. With the combination of the two, and his improvement technically every year, he will be a very good player.
"He is a Wright - and the Wrights have a big love affair with Arsenal. At the moment I do not want to say we are buying him but he is one of the interesting players on the right flank in England.
"Could he be at Arsenal one day? It is not impossible but I don't know yet. "
