Beveren offered Thomas

ARSENAL have offered Belgian feeder club Beveren the chance to take young midfielder Jerome Thomas on loan.

The 20-year-old has found first team opportunities to be limited at Highbury and The Gunners now look set to allow Thomas to get more first team opportunities with the Freethiel Stadium club.

The youngster has already had two loan spells with English Division Two side Queens Park Rangers and is still keen to make a breakthrough in Arsene Wenger's first team squad.

However, with Arsenal having a formal relationship with Beveren, the former Arsenal trainee may get a chance develop his career further by playing in Belgium's Juliper League.

Should Thomas take the loan move to Belgium, he could team up with Arsenal team-mate Igor Stepanovs, as the Latvian defender is on a season-long loan with Beveren this term.
