Aladiere ready to fire for Gunners

JERMEMIE ALADIERE is back to full-fitness after the injury ravaged striker finally overcame groin and ankle injuries.

The 19-year-old Frenchman will resume training with the Arsenal first-team this week and finally put his injury problems behind him.

"Since September I have been receiving treatment for my groin injury and thanks to the advice of Arsene Wenger and the help of French national team physio Philippe Boixel, I managed to avoid surgery," said Aladiere.

"I spent two months at Clairefontaine, where I received treatment and felt fine.

"I resumed training last month but in my first session, I twisted my ankle.  Now I feel better and I am eager to start again.

The young Frenchman signed on a free for the rampant Gunners in March 2000 and has made three substitute appearances for the North London side sais: "I hope to be considered for the reserves next week but it is down to Mr. Wenger to decide."
