Thomas rejoins QPR

QUEENS PARK RANGERS have tied up their swoop for Arsenal's teenage midfielder Jerome Thomas.

The 19-year-old has signed a two-month loan deal with The R's and heads to Loftus Road for his second spell with the Second Division outfit.

Thomas spent the closing month of last season with Ian Holloway's side and scored a crucial winner against Swindon.

The youngster is determined to make the most of his time in West London and was happy to rejoin The R's.

"I'm really pleased to be back," Thomas told the club's official website.

"I enjoyed my spell at Loftus Road last season and I'm looking forward to spending more time here.

"I feel very comfortable at QPR. I practically grew up with Richard Langley and Richard Pacquette in youth football and although I'm only here for a few months, I will be giving everything I can to QPR.

"I'm really looking forward to playing. I played on the left-wing last season, but I'm just as comfortable on both flanks. I don't mind where, just as long as I play."

Thomas has just returned to full training after suffering a hamstring injury for the past four weeks and is eager to get back on the pitch.

He added: "I've been given the all-clear to resume training today (Thursday). The hamstring injury has kept me out for four weeks, but I had a full fitness test yesterday and it showed everything is fine.

"I can't wait to start playing."
