RKC WAALWIJK`S technical director Marcel Braends has told Arsenal that they will have to move quickly if they want to land full back Michael Lamey.

The 21-year-old has been watched closely by Arsenal in the last month, after the North London scouts spotted him during a number of trips to watch the Eredivisie.

However, Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven are already aware of the Dutch Under-21 international and have opened negotiations with RKC.

Braends exclusively revealed to planetfootball that if The Gunners are to pursue the player then they will have to make a bid sooner rather than later.

"They have to be quick as we already have an agreement with Anderlecht in Belgium, but I am not sure whether the player wants to go there," said Braends.

"I am also meeting with PSV Eindhoven because they are also interested in him and they have option of buying him and letting him stay with us for another year. They are the only two bids.

"However, we know of Arsenal's interest and they were at our last game, the scout was there. That is the only thing that we have heard, though."
