INTERNAZIONALE'S French goalkeeper Sebastian Frey has said that he is flattered to be linked with swap deal with Arsenal for Patrick Vieira.

Reports in Italy and France suggest that the 21-year-old shot-stopper could be used as part of a deal that brings Vieira to Italy, and Frey says he would like to work with Arsene Wenger.

"I am happy with the rumours because I consider Arsene Wenger to be one of the best coaches in the world," said Frey.

"If the rumours are true, I am very proud to be wanted by Arsenal, who are a great club.

"Even if England doesn't really appeal to me, it is not important, only the value of the club is and Arsenal are very respected on the international scene.

"To be involved in a swap for Vieira would enhance my status because Pat is a fantastic player."

Frey has admitted that if Inter fail to get into the Champions League he could be ready to leave, but this would probably involve a move to another Italian side.

"I have had contact with clubs in Italy. I know Lazio want to buy me, as do two other great Italian teams.

"But for the moment, Inter have my full attention, I don't think I am going too far if I say I should stay in Italy next season."
