Winger Arda Turan has moved to quell speculation about his future by insisting he plans to stay at Atletico Madrid.
The Turkey international has previously stated that he would like to one day play in the Premier League, and Chelsea and Liverpool had reportedly been interested in a summer move.
A number of other European clubs had also been linked with the 26-year-old, but he has dismissed reports that he could be set to leave.
"I am going to stay with Atletico," Turan told reporters.
Atletico's successful season in the Spanish league has seen them qualify again for the Champions League and that has persuaded Turan to stay put.
"I cried for five minutes after the final game of the season because it was like being in another dimension," he continued.
"It was impossible to stop the tears. This team fought with spirit, blood and faith."
