Highly-rated Vasco da Gama defender Dede has confirmed that Cruzeiro have made a bid to sign him.
The 24-year-old, who has seven caps for Brazil, has been the subject of intense speculation about his future over the past 18 months.
A host of top European clubs have been linked with a move for Dede, including Premier League trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, Italian giants AC Milan and Ligue 1 leaders PSG.
A number of Brazilian sides have also been credited with an interest and one of those, Cruzeiro, appear to have stolen a march on their rivals.
Marcelo Oliveira's men reportedly had a €4million (£3.42million) offer for 45% of Dede's rights turned down, with Vasco pushing for at least €5million (£4.23million).
When quizzed once more about his future Dede confirmed Cruzeiro's offer, though he remained coy on any details and whether the deal would actually go through.
"It's concrete, there is an offer from Cruzeiro," he told Lancenet. "But I don't know yet if I'll leave Vasco or not."
