Liverpool striker says he just needed a run in the side
Andy Carroll has insisted he never lost confidence during his barren run, after two vital strikes in five days.
The Liverpool striker netted in the 3-2 victory at Blackburn before heading his side into the FA Cup final with the winner against Everton at Wembley.
And the 23-year-old attributes his recent form to the work he has done on the training ground.
He told Liverpool's official website: "I've been working hard all season and giving it my best. I'm getting my rewards now.
"I've always been confident, even when I've had a drought of not scoring or not playing, I've always been confident of what I can do.
"Two goals in a week, it's great for me, two winning goals as well. I just need to be out there with a run of games and I'll get some goals."
