Liverpool have confirmed that Peter Gulacsi is free to form part of their squad for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with Everton.

Keeper freed from Tigers loan and ready for Wembley trip

Liverpool have confirmed that Peter Gulacsi is free to form part of their squad for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with Everton. With the Reds facing something of a goalkeeping crisis ahead of a trip to Wembley, drastic action has been taken. Kenny Dalglish finds himself down to the bare bones in an important department after seeing Jose Reina and Alexander Doni pick up red cards in recent Premier League outings. Both men are now serving suspensions and will be forced to watch on from the sidelines as Liverpool lock horns with their Merseyside rivals this weekend. Brad Jones is expected to provide cover in the starting XI, but that still leaves a spot on the bench to fill.

Terminated

Liverpool have turned to Gulacsi in their hour of need, with the 21-year-old recalled from a loan spell at Hull City. The Hungary U21 international linked up with the Tigers at the start of the season and has made 15 appearances for the Championship outfit. He has, however, seen his loan agreement cut short and he will travel with Liverpool to the capital this weekend. "Peter Gulacsi's loan to Hull City has now been terminated and he is eligible to play in our FA Cup semi-final clash against Everton on Saturday," read a statement released on the club's official website.
