Kenny Dalglish has urged Liverpool to maintain the momentum from their FA Cup victory over Stoke on Sunday.
Liverpool are now in the semi-finals of the competition but return to Premier League matters on Wednesday at Loftus Road against QPR.
Rangers are third from bottom and need a win to help ease the fears of relegation which are now hovering over Mark Hughes' side.
Fantastic
However, Anfield chief Dalglish wants to see his team put together a consistent run of form and end the season strongly.
"It always helps when you are consistent - the best teams are always consistent and we want to get there," said Dalglish.
"It has been a fantastic effort so far and they have a lot to play for between now and the end of the season.
Performance
"Everyone has shown they can take pride in their own level of performance and as long as they are playing (in the team) they will work very hard to get a result.
"You could see by the way the boys went about their work during the game [against Stoke] that they wanted to win and that is really pleasing and satisfying for everyone.
"We have got to be applying ourselves properly between now and the end of the season."
