Craig Bellamy could return to the Liverpool squad for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Stoke at Anfield.
The Welsh forward missed the midweek Merseyside derby win in the Premier League due to 'a niggle' and he is to be assessed before this weekend's match.
Daniel Agger and Jack Robinson were also absent against Everton and will not be available, while Glen Johnson is another injury doubt.
But Bellamy may be back among Kenny Dalglish's plans when Liverpool take on Stoke for a fourth time this season.
Liverpool's manager told his club's
official website: "Glen has got a niggle. Bellers (Bellamy) had a niggle the other night. We'll wait and see.

"Daniel is not available while his rib heals. Fabio Aurelio is back training and Jack Robbo (Robinson) will be back training on Monday."
If Stoke are defeated on Sunday, Liverpool will be heading back to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-finals having already visited once this season for their Carling Cup victory.
Tony Pulis' team have also sampled the home of English football after reaching last season's FA Cup final and Dalglish thinks both clubs will be keen to return.
"We've been to Wembley as well," said Liverpool's manager. "We enjoyed it and we want to go back. We've been. We've tasted it.
"But every one of the eight teams have the same incentive - to get to Wembley.

"Whether you've been before and want to go back or you've never been and have got the hunger to get there, it doesn't make any difference."
Liverpool have failed to beat Stoke in the Premier League this season, but did win at the Britannia Stadium on the way to lifting the Carling Cup.
And Dalglish is full of respect for a club often condemned for their direct style of play, as he said: "In some quarters, Tony Pulis' team are criticised for the way they play.
"But they won't get any criticism from us. They play the way that's best suited to them, they play within the rules and they're a credit to that football club."
