Blackpool have completed the signing of Liverpool's Argentine youngster Gerardo Bruna.

Winger leaves Anfield for Bloomfield Road

Blackpool have completed the signing of Liverpool's Argentine youngster Gerardo Bruna. As exclusively revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Blackpool were lining up a deal for the Argentine winger. Bruna, who joined Liverpool from Real Madrid in the summer of 2007, never made a first-team appearance for the Reds during his time at the club. The 20-year-old linked up with Blackpool during their training camp in Portugal and he has impressed Seasiders boss Ian Holloway. Bruna is believed to have agreed a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road to become Blackpool's latest signing of the summer. A statement on Liverpool's official website read: "Liverpool have completed the permanent transfer of Gerardo Bruna to Championship side Blackpool." Blackpool are also keen on signing Bruna's former Liverpool team-mate Tom Ince, but they face competition from Fulham for his signature.
