Le Mans have taken Liverpool striker Anthony Le Tallec on a season-long loan deal.
The French starlet agreed a return to his homeland on transfer deadline day and completed his switch late on Friday evening.
Le Tallec spent last season on loan at Sochaux and the Stade Bonal side had been keen to re-sign him this summer.
But the 22-year-old will link up with Le Mans for this season with a view to a permanent move at the end of the campaign.
Le Tallec has also previously been farmed out on loan to Le Havre, St Etienne and Sunderland.
