Harry Kewell made a successful return to action for Liverpool's reserves on Monday night.
The winger has not featured for The Reds this season after suffering groin and foot injuries at last summer's World Cup finals.
Kewell played for 35 minutes as a substitute during Liverpool's 3-1 win over Everton in the mini-derby.
The former Leeds man helped set up one of the goals for Craig Lindfield during the game at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground.
The news will come as a boost to Reds boss Rafa Benitez and the Australian could now be available for the last few weeks of the season.
