Liverpool defender Djimi Traore has revealed he is keen on a move to Merseyside rivals Everton as he wants to be playing regularly.
Everton have tabled an offer for Traore as Toffees boss David Moyes looks to bolster his defence.
The tall Frenchman is determined to be playing regularly at this stage of his career after falling down the pecking order at Anfield.
Traore has been unable to show new Reds boss Rafa Benitez his worth as he is currently injured and he is prepared to move on if he does not get more action for Liverpool than last season.
"I am very keen on a move to Everton," Traore told skysports.com.
"I want to be playing regularly and I don't want to be in the same situation as last season when I was in and out of the side.
"I want to play as the left-sided centre back and if that is not at Liverpool maybe I will have to move on.
"A move to Everton would suit me as I love the city of Liverpool and I am settled there."
