PARIS SAINT GERMAIN'S talks with Red Star Belgrade's Branko Boskovic are still ongoing.

PSG chairman Francis Graille and coach Vahid Halilhodzic are still locked in talks with the player but the major stumbling block seems to be the transfer fee involved.

The Belgrade club are holding out for a ‚é¼4 million (£2.7 million) fee which is causing the Parisians to stall.

The Parc des Princes side must carefully budget and are still in the hunt for Chelsea's Boudewijn Zenden, while Halilhodzic is still on the lookout for a left back after Nantes refused to sell Sylvain Armand.

Instead, PSG have switched their attentions to Lyon's Jeremie Brechet, although the stopper says he wants to carve out a career in the centre of defence.

Liverpool defender Djimi Traore is another option, as the young Frenchman's chances at Anfield seem limited this term.

Graille contacted Reds boss Gerard Houllier last week about Traore's availability but it seems the stopper's wages could prove a hindrance.
