Govou has been linked with several moves away from Stade Gerland, with Liverpool one of the strongest candidates for his signature.
The 23-year-old has impressed many clubs across Europe with his displays for Lyon, and has broken into Jacques Santini's French national team as a result.
Along with Spanish side Valencia, Liverpool have been linked with a move for Govou, but Aulas has insisted that he will not be heading to Anfield.
Aulas says that Reds boss Gerard Houllier has told Lyon director Marino Faccioli that he is not chasing Govou.
"I believe that Sidney is not one of the priorities for Liverpool, this is according to what Gerard Houllier said recently to Marino Faccioli," Aulas told French paper Foot Exclusif.
Govou has pledged to remain with the French champions for next season, but his promising displays for France during the Confederations Cup may have alerted more potential suitors.
Lyon had been strangely linked with a move for Liverpool striker Emile Heskey, as part of a proposed swoop for Govou.
Aulas has denied any knowledge of this proposed bid which was reported in the English tabloids, saying that the club had made no moves for the former Leicester striker.
