GALATASARAY coach Fatih Terim is confident midfielder Ergun Penbe will stay with the Istanbul club.
Ergun has been tracked by a string of clubs across the continent, with Premiership trio Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham all monitoring the Turkish international.
The 30-year-old has hinted it may be time to move on after eight seasons with Galatasaray but Terim is hopeful Ergun will not depart for pastures new.
"I believe Ergun will make the right decision," said Terim. "We will pay him what he deserves.
"We have not had a problem before with Ergun. He is a good Galatasaray fan. We do not want him to leave."
Meanwhile, Gala attacker Hasan Sas is aiming for talks with the club to discuss his future in Istanbul.
Sas starred in Turkey's World Cup campaign and has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Roma, and his agent is keen to speak to the Gala board.
Mehmet Soykok said: "We have not talked with the Galatasaray board yet. There are lots of offers for Hasan.
"I think we have to talk with Galatasaray quickly."
