ABERDEEN manager Ebbe Skovdahl has issued a hands-off warning to the likes of Leeds, Liverpool and Middlesbrough concerning defender Kevin McNaughton.

The 18-year-old left back has attracted attention from a host of clubs, with The Reds represented at Saturday`s 1-1 draw with Dundee United.

The Dons, though, are determined to keep the Scottish Under-18 international at Pittodrie.

Skovdahl made his intentions clear, commenting: "No one is going to take Kevin away from Aberdeen. It wouldn't be good for him or the club.

"We should be flattered people are coming and looking but that doesn't mean we want to sell Kevin or any young players.

"He's not ready for that step.  He has a lot to learn and has the chance to do that with Aberdeen."
