LIVERPOOL striker Robbie Fowler is set to make his long-awaited return to action for the club`s reserves against Sunderland on Tuesday night, but is unlikely to fit into manager Gerard Houllier`s plans for this weekend`s trip to The Stadium of Light.
Fowler has been out of action for seven weeks after an ankle operation, missing 10 of Liverpool`s last 11 games.
Meanwhile Rigobert Song has recovered from a hamstring injury and is set to face Peter Reid`s men on Saturday.
