Goodison Park and Adams Park have been selected as venues for this season’s FA Women’s Cup semi-finals.

Everton and Notts County will play at Goodison Park on May 3 whilst Chelsea will face Manchester City at Adams Park the following day.

The four clubs are just one win away from playing in the showpiece final on Saturday August 1, which will be held at Wembley Stadium for the first time.

2014 finalists Everton remain the only FA WSL 2 side in the competition and will come up against a Notts County side looking to avenge last season’s 2-1 semi-final defeat.

Chelsea, who sit top of the FA WSL 1 table, will play Manchester City at Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park on Sunday May 4 at 2pm.

It is a ground that recalls special memories for City as they beat Arsenal 1-0 in the Continental Cup final in October to claim the club’s first piece of silverware.

It's always been a dream of ours to play at Goodison Park but none of the current team have had a chance to play competitively there.

Chelsea striker Eni Aluko, nominated for the Women’s PFA Player of the Year, said: “It would be great for us to get a good crowd down at Adams Park.

"Games don’t get bigger than this one. Chelsea versus Manchester City is always a big game, whether it’s men’s football, women’s football or youth football.

“With the additional carrot of a Wembley final, we all know it’s going to be a massive game and it’s one we’re all looking forward to.”

Everton captain Michelle Hinnigan said: "It's always been a dream of ours to play at Goodison Park but none of the current team have had a chance to play competitively there.

"I've taken part in a charity game there around four years ago, but to play competitively in the semi-final of the FA Cup is incredible.

"We hope the occasion will bring us lots of support and allow us to show the Blues' fans how much the quality of women's football has improved."
