Anderlecht and Zulte Waregem are locked in a war of words over the future of Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard.
This season, the brother of Eden has been one of the best players in the Belgian top-flight where he is currently playing for Zulte.
But now Anderlecht want Chelsea to terminate that deal and send him to them for the rest of the campaign instead.
Zulte are very unhappy with their Brussels-based rivals and issued a statement insisting they were keeping Hazard.
"Thorgan Hazard stays at Zulte Waregem until the end of the season. Chelsea have confirmed again this is the case," the statement read.
"Zulte Waregem have been in contact with Anderlecht last week to make clear we won't discuss a deal in this transfer period. We are happy that Anderlecht understand our point of view."
Anderlecht, though, issued their own statement confirming they still wanted to sign Hazard.
"Anderlecht remains interested in Thorgan Hazard... the club also remains open to any form of dialogue with all parties involved."
Last week, Francky Dury, the manager of Zulte Waregem, accused Anderlecht and Thorgan Hazard's advisor, John Bico, of trying to destabilise his club.
Reports in Belgium claim Hazard and Bico have a personal agreement with Anderlecht.
"I'm worried, but neither Bico nor Anderlecht have contacted us to say they've an agreement," said Dury. "So, I can't confirm this is true.
"As far as I know, Thorgan is happy at the club and we have a deal. I've had contact with Chelsea. They confirmed me that they aren't considering sending Thorgan on loan to another Belgian team. I can only agree.
"We're just two points behind Anderlecht in the league and we're still in the race for the cup - something Anderlecht can't say. So why would he be better of at Anderlecht than at Waregem?"
