Chelsea striker Fernando Torres admits overthrowing Barcelona to reach the UEFA Champions League final is a 'dream come true' for the Blues.
The Spaniard scored a last-gasp goal to seal a shock 3-2 aggregate victory over the reigning European champions at Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
Roberto Di Matteo's men will now face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the final, depending on the outcome of their second leg on Wednesday evening.
Torres believes Chelsea deserve another stab at European glory after the heartache of their final defeat to Manchester United in Moscow in 2008, when they lost out on penalties.
He told Sky Sports: "I'm happy to be part of the game, to score the goal, to be in the Champions League final.
"Obviously it's a dream come true for all the Chelsea players, for all the Chelsea supporters who've come here and everyone watching the game at home.
"It's the second Champions League final for Chelsea. Everyone knows what happened in the past with the penalty shoot-out so I think Chelsea deserve a second chance and we have the chance now."
Torres is no stranger to playing Barca after spending his early career in the Primera Liga with Atletico Madrid, scoring seven goals in ten league games against the Catalan giants.
But the striker admits Tuesday's goal was his most special yet.
He said: "(It's) one more goal against Barcelona, nice memories in this stadium, nice memories against them.
"But this one is more special than any one before because it helped us go through to the final."
Chelsea were given a scare when Barca took a 2-0 lead in the second leg through Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, with their goals coming either side of captain John Terry's 37th-minute sending off for a challenge on Alexis Sanchez.
But Ramires scored a crucial strike on the stroke of half-time before Torres sealed the win late on.
Salomon Kalou, who came off the bench for the Blues early in the second half, believes his side's team spirit was key to their victory.
He said: "No one expected Chelsea to pull out this performance today. Even after 2-0 we didn't give up, we fought again and we came back 2-1.
"I believe only the team spirit will take us to the next level."
