Former Chelsea midfielder Eddie Newton has rejoined the club to form part of Roberto Di Matteo's backroom staff for the rest of the season.

Former Chelsea midfielder Eddie Newton has rejoined the club to form part of Roberto Di Matteo's backroom staff for the rest of the season.
Di Matteo has been placed in charge of first-team affairs for the remainder of the campaign after Chelsea sacked Andre Villas-Boas on Sunday.
Villas-Boas was dismissed following a run of disappointing results and reports that the Portuguese had fallen out with several senior players.
Newton returns to Stamford Bridge to help out Di Matteo over the coming weeks after making 214 appearances for the Blues as a player.
Reorganisation
After making his debut in 1992, Newton went on to win the FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup before leaving in 1999 for Birmingham City, who Chelsea face in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday.
He has previously worked with Di Matteo at MK Dons and West Bromwich Albion, and will support his former midfield colleague again.
Meanwhile, following Villas-Boas' departure, Chelsea have confirmed some further reorganisation of the backroom team, with first-team fitness coach Jose Mario Rocha and head opposition scout Daniel Sousa leaving.
Chris Jones will become first-team fitness coach, while Steve Holland will remain assistant first-team coach and Christophe Lollichon is still goalkeeping coach.
