Andre Villas-Boas has once again stated his desire to bring Brazilian forward Hulk to Chelsea from former club Porto.

Chelsea boss says Brazilian 'fits the profile' of a potential signing

Andre Villas-Boas has once again stated his desire to bring Brazilian forward Hulk to Chelsea. Villas-Boas enjoyed a successful relationship with Hulk at Porto last season as the Portuguese club claimed a domestic league and cup double as well as winning the Europa League. The Chelsea boss has already said that he is interested in signing the 25-year-old, believing he can make an explosive impact in the Premier League. Hulk is currently tied down to a long-term contract at Porto with a reported release clause of £85million, but Villas-Boas will be hoping his former club is willing to do business. "(Hulk) fits the profile - his technical characteristics and tactical. Adaptation to the Premier League is extremely different and only the best ones can have the direct impact," Villas-Boas said. "It could be Hulk, could be other extremely interesting players that are around. Right wingers and left wingers (are what we are looking for)."
