Massive loss, says Chelsea manager
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has admitted the club 'badly miss' captain John Terry and is hoping the defender will be back soon.
The 31-year-old skipper has missed Chelsea's last five games with damaging results as the club have failed to win any of those fixtures.
It is a dismal run of form that has heaped pressure on Villas-Boas and the young manager made no attempts to downplay the loss of his captain.
"We badly miss him. It is a massive, massive loss," admitted Villas-Boas.
"He is a leader and a great performer even through adversity."
The Portuguese coach confirmed that Terry had undergone surgery but is hoping to have his key man back sooner than originally expected.
He added: "He has had his knee operation and he will be out for between five and six weeks, hopefully sooner."
