Villas-Boas yet to make offer; PSG linked to Brazil international

Skysports.com sources understand Porto have received no new offers for reported Chelsea target Hulk. The star striker has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and the speculation has only increased since Andre Villas-Boas this summer swapped Portugal for England. But, ahead of the January transfer window, no club has made a bid for Brazil international Hulk, whose contract includes a staggering €100million (£83.5m) release clause. A Porto source told skysports.com: "We have received no formal offer for Hulk in recent days. We are used to rumours in the papers and the club is calm." Ambitious and wealthy Paris St Germain continue to be linked with Hulk and Carlo Ancelotti is expected to remodel his squad after being appointed as manager on Friday. Manchester City are another club who in the past have been reported to be watching the 25-year-old, but the Villas-Boas and Chelsea connection remains the strongest. And Hulk's agent, Teodoro Fonseca, said in O Jogo: "I have never said Hulk wants to move to Chelsea. "I have only spoken about the good relation with Villas-Boas during his time at Porto."
