Paris St Germain boss Antoine Kombouare has refused to discuss reports the club were on the brink of making Javier Pastore their latest big-money signing.
PSG have embarked on a summer spending spree since the Qatar Investment Authority bought a controlling stake in the club almost two months ago.
Six new players have arrived at the Parc de Princes, with Salvatore Sirigu and Mohamed Sissoko on Friday officially unveiled as the latest of them.
Sporting director Leonardo has described recruitment as "ongoing" but Kombouare on Friday swatted away questions about Sirigu's former Palermo team-mate Pastore, who is reportedly on the verge of a £40million move.
"I didn't see Pastore in the Parc de Princes signing a contract," Kombouare said of the playmaker, who is also wanted by Premier League giants Chelsea.
"If a contract is not signed, people can say whatever they want. I cannot spend my time confirming or refuting those allegations."
