Notts County have extended the loan spell of Chelsea midfielder Connor Clifford until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old's initial month-long stay at the League One club ended following the 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Clifford's outing at Hillsborough was his sixth appearance for the club. He could retain his place in the starting line up against Rochdale on Tuesday night following his industrious display at the weekend.
"He's not played as many games as he would have liked since he came here but when he has come into the side he's done ever so well," said Magpies boss Paul Ince in the Nottingham Evening Post.
"He's a talented young kid with a lot of energy and he gives us something different."
