Director of sport insists duo have not attracted interest

Stuttgart are yet to receive any offers for Germany internationals Sami Khedira and Serdar Tasci, according to director of sport Jochen Schneider. Both players have been linked with moves to various clubs around Europe, with midfielder Khedira an apparent target of Chelsea as a replacement for Bayer Leverkusen-bound Michael Ballack, while defender Tasci has reportedly attracted interest from Arsenal. Khedira, who has one-year remaining on his Stuttgart contract, has made an impact for Germany at the World Cup this summer, playing a key role at the heart of midfield and helping his side to the semi-finals. Spanish newspaper AS claimed on Wednesday that Real Madrid are also keen on securing the 23-year-old's services for a reported £12million, but Schneider is adamant no enquiries have been made. "We have received nothing for either Sami Khedira or Serdar Tasci," Schneider told kicker-Sportmagazin. "No enquiries, no bids, no facsimile or similar. We are aware of those daily rumours, but this is why we do not really treat this with much attention. "We are keen on keeping both players part of VfB Stuttgart."
