Argentina defender Martin Demichelis has criticised Michael Ballack after a collision with the Chelsea midfielder left him with serious facial injuries.
The incident occurred during a friendly between Argentina and Germany in Munich on 3rd March.
An accidental coming together left Demichelis with several fractured bones after Ballack's knee made contact with his face.
The 29-year-old initially feared for his place in this year's World Cup squad but is now confident that he will be in contention for selection.
But Demichelis had some harsh words for former Bayern Munich team-mate Ballack, who he says did not contact him to ask about his recovery.
"He is a great footballer but as a human being there is nothing to say about him," he said.
"I am disappointed. We played together for three years at Bayern Munich. He could have at least sent some greetings."
Demichelis is back in light training and plans to resume a full schedule shortly, although no date has yet been set for his competitive return.
