Influential midfielder Michael Essien has joined up with his Ghana team-mates ahead of their tilt at the African Cup of Nations.
The Chelsea midfielder missed the Black Stars' pre-tournament training camp in South Africa and their arrival in Cabinda last week.
He was instead given permission to recuperate from a hamstring injury with Chelsea and has been training with his club for the last four days.
But the Ghana Football Association confirmed Essien joined up with his team-mates on Sunday.
His participation in Ghana's first game of the tournament against Togo on Monday had been in doubt but Togo flew out of Cabinda on Sunday following the gun attack on their team bus which left three dead.
Ghana are now not scheduled to play until Friday when they meet Ivory Coast, giving Essien more time to recuperate.
