Ezequiel Lavezzi does not want to leave Napoli, according to the player's agent.
Argentinian striker Lavezzi has been linked with a move to Chelsea after impressing in Serie A since arriving from San Lorenzo last summer.
Napoli issued a hands-off warning to the Blues on Monday and Lavezzi's representative, Edoardo Luis Rossetto, now claims that the 23-year-old is keen to see out the remaining five years of his contract in Italy.
"Of course we are very proud of the interest that Chelsea have shown in Ezequiel," Rossetto told Radio La Red.
"That shows to everyone how important he is and how he managed to win a place at Napoli.
"But Ezequiel is in a great team and he wants to respect his contract that he has signed until 2013.
"In addition, I don't think that the board members want to transfer Ezequiel at this moment."
Lavezzi has scored eight goals in 35 appearances for Napoli and won gold with Argentina at the 2008 Olympic Games.
