Blues land French starlet

Chelsea have agreed a deal for French starlet Jeremy Boga.

12-year-old agrees switch

Chelsea have agreed a deal for French starlet Jeremy Boga. The Blues' French-based scout Guy Hillion has revealed that the club have struck a deal for 12-year-old Boga. Boga plays for junior side ASPTT, based in Marseille, but he has now agreed to make the switch to West London. "That is not a transfer, as the rules forbid it," Hillion told the Daily Express. "Chelsea took him because he has the talent to play at the highest level. He's an excellent number 10." Boga's father is currently working in London and Hillion admits this had a huge bearing on their successful capture of Boga - who was being tracked by French champions Lyon. "We couldn't have signed Jeremy if Mr Boga hadn't been in London," he concluded.
