Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has insisted that the club has no plans to sign Barcelona's Ronaldinho.
The Brazilian star's future at Camp Nou has been the subject of intense speculation over the last few months as he has struggled for form and fitness.
Milan have been strongly linked with a summer move for the former Paris Saint Germain ace, but Berlusconi has played down the reports, insisting that he is too similar a player to Alexandre Pato and Kaka.
"Ronaldinho has never been an aim of ours because we have always felt that he would not have been the ideal partner of players like Alexandre Pato and Kaka," he said.
However, Berlusconi reaffirmed his desire to bring Chelsea striker Andrei Shevchenko back to the club.
"I believe Milan must make a point of reinforcing its defensive line and also find a great forward, who is physically strong," said Berlusconi.
"Shevchenko is a player that is physically fit and who is still in our hearts and in those of the Rossoneri fans."
