Southend have completed the emergency loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Anthony Grant.
Under the emergency loan ruling, the 20-year-old, who has already completed a loan spell at Luton this term, will remain at Roots Hall until 2nd May.
No stranger to loan spells, Grant made 47 starts for League Two outfit Wycombe Wanderers during a season-long stint at Adams Park last year.
The versatile player began his time as a trainee at Chelsea and made his brief debut for the Blues in 2005 when he replaced Joe Cole in the last minute of their Premier League clash with Manchester Utd.
