Internazionale have told Chelsea and Barcelona to forget about signing Maicon.
The Brazilian international joined Inter in 2006 from Monaco, but reports have suggested he could be unsettled due to lack of progress over a new contract.
Maicon wants to negotiate fresh terms with Inter, despite having three years left on his current deal.
Reports in Spain and England have claimed that Barca and Chelsea are both ready to make a move for the full-back should talks continue to stall.
However, Inter have stressed that they have no intention of letting Maicon leave.
"Maicon is under contract with us until 2011 and we count on him a lot," technical director Marco Branca told Gazzetta dello Sport.
It is now being reported that Inter could hand Maicon a fresh deal which would see him commit his long-term future to the Nerazzurri.
