Peter Crouch looks set to escape any disciplinary action over his controversial diving accusations.
The Liverpool striker was dismissed in the Carling Cup tie with Chelsea on Wednesday for a two-footed challenge on John Obi Mikel.
Comments made by Crouch in the aftermath of the game suggesting that Mikel, and foreign players in general are prone to diving, angered the Nigerian midfielder's representatives Sport Entertainment and Media (SEM), and they ordered the authorities to handle the claims as a racist issue.
However, the FA has reviewed the situation and feels that it is unlikely that any sanctions will be imposed on the England striker.
A spokesman from the FA said: "We would certainly not see Peter Crouch's comments as being racist.
"He is unlikely to face any sort of disciplinary action because of them."
