Petr Cech does not want last year's clash with Stephen Hunt to dominate the build-up to Czech Republic's Euro 2008 qualifier with Republic of Ireland.

The goalkeeper suffered a fractured skull after being caught by Hunt during Chelsea's 1-0 win at Reading in October last year.

He has already encountered Hunt at club level this season and they could re-oppose in Prague next Wednesday.

But Czech keeper Cech believes it is now time for the issue to be laid to rest, telling Sport: "It will be just another game.

"It is gone. I don't want to talk about it any more."

Strong

If Hunt is selected for the game, Cech is expecting the Irish midfielder to pose problems for the Czechs.

He added: "If he is picked, he will be very dangerous on the left-hand side. He is small, runs well and he puts in great crosses.

"He dares a lot in one-on-ones, he is strong and goes into every challenge.

"At Reading, they co-operate well with Kevin Doyle and they will be trying to do the same with the national team."
