John Obi Mikel has expressed delight with Chelsea's win over Liverpool and is confident they will complete the job at Anfield next week.
Chelsea secured a 1-0 advantage in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final courtesy of Joe Cole's goal.
Both camps have expressed satisfaction with the result, with Liverpool confident the Anfield factor will enable them to turn the tie on its head.
Mikel, though, feels Chelsea will have been buoyed by the Stamford Bridge success and is confident they will be able to reach the final in Athens.
"I am really happy," the midfielder told ChelseaTV. "I am really pleased with our performance as a team and the result as well.
"We needed it and it was important we went to Anfield 1-0 up and hopefully that is going to boost our morale and make us work harder to ensure we win at Anfield."
