Andrade admits Prem interest

Jorge Andrade believes he could be on his way to the Premiership this summer.

Jorge Andrade believes he could be on his way to the Premiership this summer.

The Deportivo La Coruna defender was linked with a loan move to Chelsea in the January transfer window but a deal failed to materialise.

However, John Terry's recent absence highlighted Chelsea's dependence on their key players and Jose Mourinho could decide to bring in reinforcements this summer.

And centre-half Andrade admits he would relish the opportunity to play alongside Portuguese international team-mate Ricardo Carvalho.

"It's fantastic to play in England. People here love football," said Andrade.

"Playing with Carvalho is very easy. He is a fantastic player. We play together with our eyes shut.

"We'll see if I come to the Premiership. Nothing is impossible in life."

Andrade has struggled with injuries this season and he knows he must prove his form and fitness if he is to attract interest from anyone.

"I concentrate on my club and until the summer I have to show everyone I am OK," he explained.

"I was injured for some time and now I am getting stronger.

"In the summer we will see."
