Michael Mancienne is eager to extend his stay at Queens Park Rangers.
The highly-rated defender has impressed at Loftus Road since joining on loan from Chelsea in October, and has made eight appearances in the Championship so far.
Mancienne is due to return to Chelsea next month but he is not relishing the prospect of slotting back into their reserve side.
He is enjoying life at QPR and believes it would be in his best interests to get more first-team games under his belt.
"I would far rather be playing first-team football than playing for the reserves," he admitted.
"It is a good learning curve, and it is great to have fans watching you, instead of two men and a dog.
"I hope I keep doing well and continue to do good things."
